 猴頭菇(學名:Hericium erinaceus),菌科的菌類,菌傘表面長有毛茸狀肉刺,長約1~3釐米,它的子實體圓而厚,新鮮時白色,干后由淺黃至淺褐色,基部狹窄或略有短柄,上部膨大,直徑3.5~10釐米,遠遠望去猴頭,故稱“猴頭菇”
