Product Description

Mangiferic acid is an organic compound with the molecular formula C7H10O5. It is colorless or white needle-like crystals. The solubility is 18% in water at 20℃, slightly soluble in ethanol and ether, almost insoluble in chloroform and benzene. Mangiferic acid inhibits platelet aggregation, arterial and venous thrombosis and cerebral thrombosis by affecting the metabolism of arachidonic acid, and has anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects, and can also be used as antiviral and anti-cancer drug intermediates. This product is mostly used as pharmaceutical intermediates, with a certain degree of irritation, should not be used directly . It is naturally found in the dried ripe fruits of Anise (Illicium verum Hook.f.), etc. of Magnoliaceae.
