Wheat oligopeptide is made from wheat gluten flour, through the process of pulping, protease enzymatic digestion, separation, filtration and spray drying, etc. On September 5, 2012, the Ministry of Health issued the Announcement on the Approval of Edible Oil with Medium and Long Chain Fatty Acids and Wheat Oligopeptide as New Resource Food (Ministry of Health Announcement No. 16, 2012), which approved wheat oligopeptide as new resource food.
